Introducing My New Mini Town E-book Series

I’m delighted to announce the launch of a brand-new project – a series of mini town eBooks that explore the fascinating history, stories, and characters of towns across the North of England.

The very first eBooks in this series focuses on Lancaster – a city with a rich past shaped by its castle, its role in trade and industry, and the lives of the people who called it home. From medieval power struggles to bustling market days, Lancaster has so many layers of history waiting to be uncovered.

These eBooks are designed to be short, engaging, and easy to read. Each one will:

  • Highlight key events and landmarks in the town’s history

  • Share interesting local stories and traditions

  • Explore the families, trades, and communities that built the town

  • Offer a mix of historical insight and a personal touch, drawn from my passion for genealogy and uncovering local heritage

After Lancaster, the next few eBooks will turn to the Lake District, beginning with towns and villages such as Grasmere, Ambleside, and Hawkshead – places not only rich in history and beauty, but also with personal connections to my own family roots.

Whether you have ancestry in these areas, a love of local history, or simply enjoy discovering the stories behind familiar towns, I hope these eBooks will bring the past to life in an enjoyable and accessible way.

👉 The Lancaster eBook will be available very soon – watch this space for the release!
